Dearly Beloved

You are a carrier of the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God dwells inside of you.

Believers often travel long distances to find God in Christ. The truth is , if Christ is well formed in your heart (Gal 4:19), then be sure you carry God within you.

When Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God will come, His response was: “the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). There are deep hidden meanings in the statement. The Bible says our body is the living temple of God, hence we ought to keep it holy. According to the word of God through apostle Paul: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”(1Corinthians 6:19). He then added: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”(1Corinthians 6:20).

We need this God’s consciousness in our daily walk with God in Christ Jesus. Once, we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, then we have some measure of God in us depending on our faith at the time. This is why apostle John says: “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). This is why apostle Paul says: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).This why the Psalmist said: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6).

Once, you have received Jesus Christ (the Spirit ) into your heart and spirit, there is the need for you to grow in grace and knowledge that is in Christ Jesus, to enable Christ to be well formed in you. The plan of God is to manifest all true believers as Jesus on earth, hence apostle Paul revealed: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19).

God is a Spirit (John 4:24). The Holy Spirit of God will not dwell in a vessel (body) that is impure. What is that ‘habit’ that you secretly hold unto, which you know very well does not glorify God in your life?You may call it any name, but if it does not bring glory to God, please ask God for the grace to drop it NOW. Is it procrastination? Is it laziness? Is it miserliness? Is it sleeping too much? Is it impure thoughts? Is it poverty of ideas? Is it doubt? Is it fear? Is it anger? or feelings of frustration etc? As a Spirit, God has ears, eyes, feelings, etc. The Holy Spirit cannot withstand imperfection, as revealed in the Word: “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity” (Habakkuk 1:13).

Finally, to optimize your work and walk with God in Christ, you need to carry that consciousness that the kingdom God is within you. His is a kingdom of power, boldness, hardwork, righteousness, transparency, integrity, care, comfort, peace, etc. God loves a humble and contrite heart. This what the word of God says:

” For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones” (Isa 57:15).

Stay connected to Jesus, the power and wisdom of God, the Truth.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer Point

Dear Father, please give us the grace to be conscious of the presence of your Holy Spirit in us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

The word of God is eternal.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” ( Mark 13:31).

Dearly Beloved

The word of God is the single most important thing in heaven and on earth. The prayer of every true believer is to make it to heaven. Believers enjoy living on earth despite all the wickedness going on, partly because even though all believers pray to go to heaven, very few believers are ready to die.

As important as heaven is in the scheme of God’s creation, our memory verse says heaven will pass away, even as this earth will pass away. The only thing that will never pass away is the word of God. This is an indication of how much God values His word. If you truly love God, then you will value and honour His word above every other thing.

Is the word of God your delight? Are you delighted when you read the Word of God. Does the word of God excite you and give you joy? Like the Psalmist confessed, without the Word, you are very vulnerable. Hold unto the word of God if you desire to be set free from all afflictions.

“Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction”(Psalm 119:92)

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word and the Truth . Be knowledgeable and wise. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE, AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ every day.

Seek humility and wisdom daily

Keep your thoughts and mind positive.

Do NOT think evil against anyone.

Be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point

Father, please, give me the grace to value your word above all other things in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.

Greater Works!

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” ( John 14:12).

Dearly Beloved

Once more, we say thank you Jesus for safely bringing us into the second half of 2018.

If you have received JESUS CHRIST into your heart as your Lord/Saviour and you have received power by the anointing of the the Holy Spirit ( Acts 1:8), then you are for Greater Works.

Some Christians tend to believe that Christianity is all about ‘prayer’. Though prayer is very important in your Christian work with the Lord but prayer like faith, should be accompanied by work. If you are a Christian and you are not experiencing signs and wonders following you, then please examine the level of Christianity. The kingdom of God is NOT in word but in power.

Jesus Christ promised all true believers Greater Works ( ‘Greater Works’ happens to be the motto of the School of the Disciples of the Redeemed Christians Church of God, RCCG, where some of us passed through by His grace ). Jesus Christ after His resurrection, assured all true believers:

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen’ ( Mark 16:17-20).

If you are NOT experiencing signs and wonders in your daily walk with the Lord, please examine the level of your Christianity. Are you laying hands on the sick and the good Lord has not ensured healing? Have you commanded the devils to depart in the name of Jesus and they did not obey the name above every other name?

As for me, I daily looking forward to when I will be able to affirm like apostle Paul:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…” ( 2Timothy 4:7

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word and the Truth . Be knowledgeable and wise. Be enlightened.

Word for Today: Let’s exalt the name above every other name: JESUS!

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” ( Philippians 2:9-11).

Dearly Beloved

Whenever you are stuck and you are unable to speak and you have the opportunity to call just one word, call the name of JESUS.

There is power mighty in the name of Jesus. The name heals; the name delivers and name makes alive.

JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!
