Dearly Beloved
Once more, we bless the name of the LORD for safely piloting us into the second half of 2018.
Many Christians are happy to call themselves ‘winners’ but turn around to say there is nothing in life to ‘ fight’ for . It’s the lie of the devil . How can you be a ‘winner’ without being a ‘fighter’. Fighting and winning involve battle.
Yes, Jesus Christ won the battle over 2000 years, but that does not mean we should do nothing. We have to join hands with Jesus to ‘destroy the works of the devil’ (1John 3:8). Am often surprised that Christians seem comfortable in the midst of lying, cheating, dishonesty, fraud, backbiting etc.
Apostle Paul admonished his spiritual son, Timothy, to ‘fight the good fight of faith’.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses ” ( 1Tim 6:12).
In fighting the battles of life, please ensure you put on the full armour of God:
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).
My prayer is that at the end of my sojourn on earth, I am able to say with boldness like apostle Paul:
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith…” ( 2Timothy 4:7
Stay connected to JESUS, the Word and the Truth . Be knowledgeable and wise. Be enlightened.
Become a DISCIPLE, AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ daily.
Seek humility and wisdom.
Keep your thoughts and mind positive.
Do no think evil against anyone.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Point
Dear Father, please grant us the spirit of wisdom and give us the grace to join you in destroying the works of the devil in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Blood of Jesus . Thank you Jesus.
Thank you Jesus for having come that the works of the devil may be destroyed.
