“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).

Dearly Beloved

Power is the ability to do work. Make use of the power given unto you from above. Jesus has extended to all true believers, power He Himself received from His Father as revealed in the scripture:

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” ( Matthew 28:18).

Every true Christian needs empowerment by the Holy Spirit, otherwise effective Christian living will be difficult if not impossible. Soul winning is extremely difficult without the help of the Holy Spirit. The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, there is a measure of the Holy Spirit that you receive with your confession, depending on the level of your faith when you received Christ.

However, receiving Jesus Christ is the beginning of a difficult race, which is largely spiritual. You require subsequent empowerment by the Holy Spirit to be victorious in the race. You need some level of humility, spiritual training, water baptism by immersion , before Holy Spirit baptism by His grace. This is where the word of God and a good Word based church are very important. To show us example, Jesus Himself went through the process before being empowered:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

Beloved, Christianity is not a mere mental exercise as some ‘great’ preachers and organisations would want us to believe. Without empowerment by the Holy Spirit, we can do nothing. Not by might, not by power , but by the Spirit of the living God ( Zechariah 4:6). Personally, I could recall how my Christian life was prior to my Holy Spirit baptism by His grace on the 10th February, 2008. The power that touched me that day was mighty beyond description.

You might have been a Christian for many years, but if you have not been baptised by the Holy Spirit, cry to God in Christ Jesus, in total repentance . Ensure you go through the required spiritual process. If you are finding it difficult to share the Word with others, you need empowerment:

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” ( Acts 1:8).

As a faithful reader of this message, receive ye the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you Jesus.

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word . Be prayerful . Be wise.  Be enlightened.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive/ healthy.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness  (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer Point

Dear Father, through this medium let every Christian who has NOT yet been baptised in your Holy Spirit experience the Spirit baptism in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Dearly Beloved

Once more, you are welcome to the month of grace, May 2018. Blessed be the name of the Lord. The Word says:

“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” ( Proverbs 18:14).

Some Christians go through life not being mindful of their spirit being, whereas, it’s the spiritual that controls the mental and the physical. You cannot function in life effectively, without the help of the Holy Spirit.

Many Christians are not conscious of the need for their daily guidance by the Holy Spirit of God. Every step of your life needs to be guided daily. First of all, you need the Holy Spirit to bear witness with your own spirit and confirm to you that you are spiritually mature enough to move from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. It’s a spiritual empowerment process. The scripture says:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1: 12).

If the words of God are spirit, then our words are spirit. Be careful of what you say. We can speak living words by aligning our thoughts to God in Christ Jesus. Many Christians are not sensitive to the fact that the Holy Spirit in our Lord Jesus speaks to guide us, if we allow Him. The book of Acts says:

“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them” (Acts 13:2).

Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit of God. Let Christ be well formed in you, so as to speak and guide you daily. Embrace a life of prayer and fasting. Before leaving the world, Jesus had promised us the Holy Spirit, our great Guidance and Comforter:

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you” ( John 16:7).

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” ( John 16:13).

Henceforth, pay attention to your man.

“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly” (Proverbs 20:27).

Stay connected to the JESUS, the Lord, also called the Word. He is our SOURCE. Be prayerful. Be enlightened.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Do not think evil against anyone.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that the Holy Spirit will guide their daily lives in Jesus name. Amen.

There is power in expectation.

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18).

Dearly Beloved

Welcome to the month of grace. Grace will work for you this month in Jesus name. Amen.

The word of God says the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. There is power in your expectations. Each day, when the LORD kindly wakes you up, what are your expectations? Often times, in life, if you expect nothing, you get nothing.

Jesus has promised us life in abundance but we need spiritual understanding to keep the enemies of progress and joy away. The Spirit of joy is inside of you. The word of God in the heart of a man is something more than gold.

Ensure you put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:13-18). Ensure you flush out fear doubt, anxiety, anger, envy, bitterness. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Do not compromise on righteousness.

Each day, endeavour to focus your thoughts and affection on things above.

“The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish” (Proverbs 10:28).

What are your expectations today?

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word . Be enlightened.

Align your thoughts to His (Jeremiah 29:11).

Keep your thoughts & mind positive/ healthy.

Ensure you think no evil against anyone.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

A very Good Morning in the Lord to everyone brought in contact with His word today.

The bible informs us that “God is a Spirit ” ( John 4:24). No one can see God with the natural eyes, yet He lives inside of us. Yes, God is the Spirit of truth, light, purity, righteousness, holiness, knowledge, wisdom, perfection, order, grace, mercy, diligence, goodness, kindness and love. God has given every man the opportunity to possess that Spirit. That was the Spirit that operated in Jesus when He was on earth. Jesus Himself revealed:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord” ( Luke 4:18-19).

Many Christians are not conscious of their sonship with God. Knowledge and awareness of sonship does not happen the moment you give your life to Jesus Christ. You need the Holy Spirit to bear witness with your own spirit and confirm to you that you are spiritually mature enough to move from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. It’s an empowerment process. The scripture says:

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 8:12).

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).

Beloved, you have been anointed for a purpose. As you yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, the nature of the true God is revealed in you more and more: love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, faith etc.

Stay connected to JESUS, also called the Word . Be wise. Be enlightened.

Prayer Point
