Dearly Beloved

How intimate are you with Jesus Christ? How much do you know Him? Are you hungry and thirsty for Jesus? Unfortunately, mary Christians only know Jesus superficially.

Jesus Himself said:

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” ( Matthew 5:6).

Jesus is our righteousness. There can never be righteousness, without Jesus Christ. If you are hungry and thirsty for righteousness , you would be hungry and thirsty for Jesus.

Everyone of us should learn something from the life of Apostle Paul. It’s amazing how someone who never met with Jesus face to face when Jesus was on earth, could develop such deep intimacy with Christ that surpassed all those who were with Jesus in person. Amazingly, he still wanted to know more of Jesus. Truly, I love Paul so much. I can imagine Paul being preoccupied with ‘That I may know him….’!

Knowing Jesus deeply should bring a revelation. Paul knew Jesus so much that he gave up every other thing. Hear him:

“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ…’ ( Philippians 3:7-8)

Beloved, how often do you cry to God to give you the grace to know more of Jesus Christ?

“…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits” ( Daniel 11:32).

I love my Jesus; And Jesus loves me; no circumstances can change my decisions.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Father, please give me the grace to know more of Jesus. Help me to know more of Jesus. We bless your holy name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for giving me the grace to know more of you.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it…” ( Matthew 16:18-19).

Dearly Beloved

The CHURCH is not the building as many Christians have tried to reduce the church to nowadays, although the building is important to the church. The church of God is the congregation of the saints. Every true born again Christian is a part of the church at all times, not only on Sundays.

When the head of the church, Jesus Christ first used the word church in our memory verse, it was with reference to the person of Peter: “That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. Jesus added:

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19)

Unfortunately, spiritual ignorance has paralysed the thinking of many Christians that ‘seeing’, they can’t see and ‘hearing’, they can’t hear. How on earth can the head of the church ( Jesus Christ), be involved in a church activity, and the building will collapse and kill many people, like what happened in well known ‘churches’ in Lagos and Akwa Ibom states( both in Nigeria), in recent years? If Jesus Christ was involved, where was He when the building was collapsing? Why is it that Jesus Christ was no longer the head of all principalities and powers (Colossians 2:10), in those churches? The interesting thing is that many people are still rushing to those churches for “healing” and for solutions to their problems. God have mercy. Please, beware of fake churches. The kingdom of God is not meat and drink.

Brethren, light and darkness are not friends. When Jesus Christ is involved in something, what you can find there is GRACE and MERCY. Not collapse buildings and killing of people. It’s the devil that kills and destroys (John 10:10), whereas Jesus is for abundance of life.

You can choose to remain in ignorance and be exploited if you want. It’s entirely your choice. At least you have the opportunity to know the truth and be free ( John 8:32).

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to JESUS, the Word of God.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

Prayer Point

Thank you Father for your church and for giving me the opportunity to sit on your right side along with Jesus Christ far above all principalities and powers. We bless your holy name. Amen.

If the word of God has not been my delight…

“Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction” (Psalm 119:92).

Dearly Beloved

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” ( Proverbs 4:18).

If there is one thing you need to know very well, understand that the devil is very wicked. Wickedness is his nature. Jesus speaking to us in John 10:10 says : “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”(John 10:10a). The thief is the devil. He is extremely wicked. When he lies, he speaks his nature. Please, don’t treat the devil lightly. He can torment and kill easily.

Ignorance has led to many people in the church to be being cut down at the prime of their lives ( Hosea 4:6). I have no doubt that if the word of God has not been my security, I would have been gone years ago, considering the circumstances I found myself. I am often saddened when young people I know well suddenly pass on at the prime of their lives. Like what happened in April 2015, when I lost a spiritual daughter suddenly.

The word of God says:

“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him” ( Proverbs 16:7).

Truly, the worst enemy a man has, is himself! If a man can overcome ignorance, especially spiritual ignorance, he will always be at the top, never beneath. Let your ways be pleasing to God, and your enemies shall be at peace with you.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life ( John 14:6).

Stay connected to Jesus Christ, who was with God in the beginning-the Word of God.

Maintain integrity in all aspects of your life in dealing with others. A good name is better than the finest gold.

Be merciful, kind and compassionate with one another.

Prayer Point

Father, please give me the grace to delight more in your word. Please, Father, give me the grace to please you in all my ways, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
