Dearly Beloved

This the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Many Christians are not conscious of the need for their daily guidance by the Holy Spirit of God. Every step of your life needs to be guided daily. First of all, you need the Holy Spirit to bear witness with your own spirit and confirm to you that you are spiritually mature enough to move from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. It’s an empowerment process. The scripture says:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 8:12).

Many Christians are not sensitive to the fact that the Holy Spirit in our Lord Jesus speaks to guide us, if we allow Him. The book of Acts says:

“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them” (Acts 13:2).

Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit of God. Let Christ be well formed in you, so as to speak and guide you daily. Embrace a life of prayer and fasting. Before leaving the world, Jesus had promised us the Holy Spirit, our great Guidance and Comforter:

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you” ( John 16:7).

Stay connected to the JESUS, also called the Word, our SOURCE. Be enlightened.

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1Corinthian 3:11).

Dearly Beloved

No man can lay another true foundation. The foundation for our faith, prosperity and salvation has been laid by our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s faithfully build on it. Apostle Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit said: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

There is only one way to true victory, prosperity, divine destiny-the Way, the Truth and the Life. Do not be deceived by theologies and philosophies appearing attractive. We need Jesus Christ to have a direct encounter with the true God.

Ask God to grant you knowledge, wisdom and understanding as you read the word of God. Do not destroy yourself. Only Jesus Christ, the Son of God can set you free indeed:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” ( John 8:36).

If you remove Jesus Christ from your life, crisis is the eventual outcome.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children” (Hosea 4:6).

Every other way has a negative price attached. But “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). May God help you to come to this knowledge of the truth and NOT belong to a group of people described in the bible as “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2Timothy 3:7).

Be knowledgeable. Stay connected with the Word. Be enlightened.

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” ( Titus 2:11-14).

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord” ( 2Peter 1:2). We see that grace and peace increase with the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

As you soak your body, soul and spirit with the word of God today, may you experience supernatural peace associated with the amazing grace of God in Jesus name. Amen.

Our God is the God of all grace. Yes, God is able to make all grace abound towards you. May God make everything you need to serve Him available to you by grace. Amen

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful”(Psalm 1:1).

Dearly Beloved

Let us increasingly desire the attributes of a blessed person as revealed by the Psalmist through inspiration of the Holy Spirit:

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish” (Psalm 1:1-6).

Jesus Christ said: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” ( Matthew 5:44).
