“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” ( Acts 6:4).

Dearly Beloved

In the Ministry Of the Word (MOW)-Acts 6:4, we primarily encourage and empower believers to be rich in the words of God, in accordance with the scripture: ‘let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom’ (Colossians 3:16).

We emphasise that the entrance of the WORD is the true source of LIGHT in a dark world (Psalm 119:130). We also encourage believers to speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs(Eph 5:19). We encourage everyone to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness(Matt 6:33). We stand on the scripture the righteousness exalts a person (Proverbs 14:34). We emphasize that pure Christianity is about True Spirituality in Christ Jesus. We emphasize that the POWER in the blood of Jesus has set us FREE from bondage, and that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2Corinthians 3:17).

We enlighten the people that Jesus is the Way , the Truth and the Life (John 14:6); that the words of God are spirit and are Life (John 6:63). We allow the Scriptures to answer all questions. We create the awareness that Jesus has made all true believers kings and priests unto God and his Father (Revelation 1:6).

In addition, as a spiritual body, we also empower unbelievers, using the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ with the understanding that when they witness the power of the living God, they will exalt his holy name (Psalm 46:10).

One major objective of MOW is to increasingly improve everyone’s spiritual independence through understanding. Spiritual ignorance is a major cause of human destruction (Hosea 4:6). Indeed, many children of God have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge (Isaiah 5:13). The Word says ‘through knowledge shall the just be delivered’ (Proverbs 11:9).

Please note that the MOW is an initiative and the spiritual arm of Abasi Health Foundation (AHF). AHF is a registered NGO in Nigeria, with the primary objective of empowering all groups of people to optimize their health. It is aimed at encouraging everyone to have increasing awareness of three broad levels of health: Physical, Mental and Spiritual.

May God give you the grace of increasing understanding in the word of God in Jesus Name. Amen.

Dear Father, we bless your holy name for the Ministry Of the Word. Thank you for your grace upon our lives. May the Ministry Of the Word continue to touch and transform lives amazingly in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Blood of Jesus!

Word for Today: JESUS came with fullness of grace.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Beloved

Grace in simply means unmerited favour. Each time, I look at my life, I remember that but for the grace of God, people would have looked for me and couldn’t find me. Grace can turn a ridicule into a miracle. Please, let’s appreciate the the grace of God. The bible says:

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” ( John 1:17).

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus. Grace and peace increase with the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

As you soak your body, soul and spirit with the word of God today, may you experience supernatural peace associated with the amazing grace of God in Jesus name. Amen.

Our God is the God of all grace. Yes, God is able to make all grace abound towards you. May God make everything you need to serve Him available to you by grace. Amen

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” ( 2Corinthians 9:8)

What I have received , is what I have given to you. A man can receive nothing unless it be given to him from above ( John 3:27).

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” ( Philippians 4:23).

Have Spirit-filled new day in the Lord.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate with one another.

Word for Word: Have You Received Power?

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Dearly Beloved

Without empowerment, it’s very difficult to live effective Christian life. Empowerment by the Holy Spirit from above, also called anointing brings courage, boldness , wisdom as well as helping with a life of holiness. Have you received power from above?

If you have not yet been baptised in the Holy Spirit, cry to God for it . Every Christian needs empowerment for effective work in the kingdom and for effective Christian living. There are Christians who want to do the work of God, but FEAR has paralysed their inner being. It’s the anointing that remove our burden and destroy all yoke, according to the word of of God:

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” ( Isaiah 10:27).

Jesus Himself as divine as He was from birth, needed to be empowered, according to the Bible:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

You can be anointed again and again to overflowing. The bible tells us that King David ( the Psalmist) was anointed at least three times. No wonder he affirmed: “thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over” ( Psalm 23:5b). Based on his anointing, we can understand why he was so passionate about God .

Never forget, the anointing you have received from the good Lord is only for goodness. It enables us to set the oppressed free and win souls . Do not embark on any evil. In your thoughts, words and actions be an example for others to follow.

The LORD is our strength and rock. Jesus Himself quoted this scripture:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture is fulfilled in your ears” ( Luke 4:18-21).

Ask God in Christ for fresh anointing today.

Have a Spirit-filled new day in Christ Jesus.

Do no harm to anyone. The only debt you owe everyone you come across is LOVE.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness  (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Dear Father, we pray for fresh anointing to make us effective in your kingdom in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Spend Your Time Well.

“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” ( Romans 14:12).

Dearly Beloved

Do you know that there will be a day you will give account of your sojourn on earth before the Almighty God? Many people spend valuable amount of time talking what is not edifying to anyone, instead of doing something productive. Spend your time well while you are alive. Engage in some work that will benefit humanity . There is no work in the grave when you depart this world.

Be sensitive to the word you speak. Your words are very powerful. Death and life are in the power of the tongue ( Proverbs 18:21).

Your words are signals to angelic world. Positive, edifying words are picked up by angels of light to build us up and for the impartation of others, while negative words are conveyed by the agents of darkness for destruction. Do not destroy yourself. It has been said that man is his worst enemy.

Be careful to speak only edifying words. Don’t focus on the circumstance. Speak the change you want into your future. Have faith in God. We serve a God who call those things that be not as if they were (Romans 4:17).

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers” ( Ephesians 4:29

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen
