Dearly Beloved

The scriptures enable us to know that the word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Christians need to have increasing consciousness that Christianity is a spiritual warfare. How can you go to war without being armed by your ally (the Holy Spirit).

Without holding your written Bible, how often do you say ‘it is written ‘ . Thrice, Jesus was tempted, thrice He defeated the devil with ‘it is written ‘ ( Matthew 4:1-11)

If you have received Jesus Christ, then you are a son. You have to arise and function as a son.

As many as received Jesus Christ are GIVEN the POWER to become sons of the kingdom of God ( John 1:12).

A Christian who is unable to say ‘It is written’ regularly when challenged is spiritually empty, void and armless.

On a daily basis, do not ignore to say ‘it is written…’. As you fill your heart with the word of God and it will flow out when you open your mouth (Matthew 12:34).

Have a Spirit-filled day

Stay connected to the JESUS, also called the Word . Be enlightened.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Do not think evil against anyone. Have a forgiving spirit.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

Thank you Jesus my salvation and for waking me up today.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Give us the grace to learn to say ‘It is written…’, on a daily basis in Jesus mighty name. Amen

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” ( Isaiah 54:14).

Dearly Beloved

Righteousness is very important to God in Christ Jesus. Without righteousness enduring progress in life is difficult. Righteousness in simple terms means complete obedience to the word of God.

The word of God says this of Jesus Christ:

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” ( 2Corinthian 5:21).

Always remember, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is our ally. Without Him we can do nothing. We need empowerment from Him. To make steady progress in all areas of life, you have to learn to love righteousness and hate iniquity. Do no longer pretend that you are not seeing those things around you which bring no glory to God in Christ. Make a resolution to speak the word of God to any situation, thing or person going contrary to the word of God.

Do not deprive yourself of spiritual knowledge . Knowledge is power.

“Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth” (Proverbs 19:2).

You need to be strengthened in your knowledge of God to do exploits. Your anointing is related to the extent you love righteousness.

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows” ( Hebrews 1:9).

Yes, righteousness exalts a person ( Proverbs 14:34)

Stay connected to the Word . Be enlightened.

Think no evil against anyone. Have a forgiving spirit.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate and kind to one another.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” ( Matthew 11:12).

Dearly Beloved

The business people will tell you that in life nothing happens for nothing. You have to be aggressive in the spirit in order to win certain life battles.

There are many brothers and sisters who are looking for their life partners, but do nothing, believing God will “do what seemed good”, the attitude of Eli in the book of Samuel. Many a times what you hear from them is something like: “God knows my heart desire”. Yes, God knows your heart desire but God expects you to be specific, persistent, aggressive and spiritually violent when dealing with life issues. Once you have received the Holy Spirit, your words become creative. You speak what you want into being in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit of God “calleth those things which be not as though they were” ( Romans 4:17). Henceforth, say no to passive Christianity.

One of the biggest problems we have in the church today is the lack of the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. The cold and lukewarm nature of the church today has enabled evil to thrive within the body of Christ. It has enabled demons, witches, wizards and agents of darkness to feel comfortable and to ‘enjoy’ fellowship with true children of God.

John the Baptist, who heralded Jesus, declared: “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire” (Math 3:11).

Please, pray for the fire component of the Holy Spirit baptism. Jesus Christ is the only one that can baptise you with the Holy Spirit.

Please, be spiritually violent daily.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). However, the first thing you must desire greatly is total spiritual freedom through the truth in the word of God ( John 8:32).

Stay connected to JESUS, also called the Word . Be enlightened.

Happy Sunday in the Lord great people of God.

Many Christians are not conscious of their sonship with God. Knowledge and awareness of sonship does not happen the moment you give your life to Jesus Christ. You need the Holy Spirit to bear witness with your own spirit and confirm to you that you are spiritually mature enough to move from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. It’s an empowerment process. The scripture says:

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 8:12).

Always remember a child is born, but a son is given ( Isaiah 9:6).

To become a son of God is a reflection of tremendous amount of love from the Almighty God in Christ Jesus. Endeavour to be connected to God’s kind of love. Love that is patient. Love that is kind. Love that is not irritable. Love that keeps no record of wrongs . Love that is diligent. Indeed, what manner of love that we become sons of God in Christ Jesus:

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” ( 1John 3:1).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” ( John 3:16).

Stay connected to the JESUS, also called the Word . Be enlightened.
