Dearly Beloved

God is interested in you living in divine peace. Not the peace of this world, but the peace that only Jesus, the Word of God can give:

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

The word of God is nourishing to your heart and spirit. The word of God is the word of peace:

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord” ( 2Peter 1:2).

Be truthful and honest with yourself .

Stay connected to the Word .

Have a blessed new week.

Do not think evil against anyone.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Word for Today: Man can be Perfect.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48 )

Dearly Beloved

One of the biggest problems in the body of Christ today is that many Christians lack the concept of perfection. In our memory verse, Jesus Christ would not be telling His followers to be perfect if perfection was not possible with man. It’s SIN that has separated man from God.

A major hindrance to perfection is that many ‘born again’ Christians are not sanctified. The word of God sanctifies. The more of the word of God you sincerely have in your heart and in your spirit, the more sanctified you are. To be sanctified simply means to be thoroughly washed, cleaned up, be purified, be refined, be consecrated , set apart and declared holy. Only the truth in the word of God can truly sanctify a man.

We are serving a perfect God. There is no imperfections or blemishes with Him. We need to cleave to Him in total obedience to His words in order to understand His divine nature. As sons, we are a partaker of His divine nature . Do not remain in ignorance of this truth.

The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit are perfectly united in oneness, hence we have only ONE LIVING God. Jesus prayed for us:

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth”( John 17:17)

Apostle Paul also prayed:

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23).

Prayer

Sustaining your Salvation.

Memory Verse

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).

Dearly Beloved

Your salvation is the most single important thing you have got. However, salvation can be lost. Some Christians are not conscious of their salvation daily . We are admonished by our memory verse to regularly ‘work out your own salvation with fear and trembling ‘ ( Phil 2:12).

With the current events in the world there is no doubt that RAPTURE is at hand . The signs are very glaring. I agree with most the writers on this platform and outside this platform that everyone Christian should examine himself/herself and ensure that he/she is heaven bound. We are running out of time!

“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man “Proverbs 3:3-4).

The word of God is nourishing to your heart and spirit. Take time to ‘eat’ the word of God:

Be truthful and honest with yourself . Be conscious of your salvation daily.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

Let’s Learn to forgive easily.

“But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:26).

Dearly Beloved

The Word of God enjoins us to forgive one another. Many Christians have poor concept of forgiveness. Forgiveness has to do with ensuring there is no bitterness towards one another. Forgiveness has to do with your sense of compassion. I mean, your ability to show compassion to someone you do not really love.

JESUS said:

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44)

Unforgiveness is a strong destructive spirit. It has put many Christians in serious bondage.

If Jesus Christ has made you free, you are free indeed ( John 8:36). The grace of God to a fallen humanity is no other person than our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. His name means SAVIOUR. He came to save many from their sins (Matthew 1:21).

Let’s emulate Jesus Christ in our daily living.

Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word

Have a Spirit-filled new day.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Do no think evil against anyone. Be forgiving towards one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.
