Word for Today: Choose Life and Live.

Word for Today:

Choose Life and Live.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Dearly Beloved

Life is a matter of choice. You may not be able to alter your past, but you can learn from your past and make use of the present to re-shape your future.

The average speeches of many Christians are not different from those of unbelievers. They complain, murmur and grumble about virtually everything, and yet they are ‘born again’. Becoming a Christian is a transformation that should influence your thoughts, words and actions.

You have a glorious future but you have a responsibility. The word of God is given to everyone freely as the word of life. Choose life that you and your children may live. Be a positive influence for Christ. Let everyone know you with Jesus Christ. Let Jesus be your best friend.

The book of Proverbs admonishes us:

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 16:25).

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

Have a blessed new day.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Do no think evil against anyone. Be forgiving towards one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another.

JESUS: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12)

Thank you Jesus for giving me new day in the Lord.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that he or she will choose life and live in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Expect Challenges in Life.

Word for Today:

Expect Challenges in Life.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed…(2Corinthians 4:8-10).

Dearly Beloved

Many Christians go through life despairing when they are challenged. This should not be so. Your greatest weapon is the word of God. Remember the words of apostle Paul when faced with unimaginable challenges:

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body” (2Corinthians 4: 8-10).

Be strong in the Lord. Challenges should make you stronger.

Salvation is associated with joy in the Holy Spirit. Ensure that you do not lose your joy for whatever reason. Joy is your birth right, the moment you are truly born again.

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones” (Proverbs 17:22).

Be truthful and honest with yourself. Set aside a few minutes to meditate on the word of God. Do it as many times as possible each day.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

Have a Spirit-filled new day.

Keep your thoughts & mind positive.

Do no think evil against anyone. Be forgiving towards one another.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. He speaks.

Be compassionate, merciful and kind to one another. Live in peace with one another. Love one another. Love is the debt you owe everyone you come across.

JESUS said:

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12)

Thank you Jesus for waking me up this morning.

Word for Today: There is a spirit in man!

Word for Today:

There is a spirit in man!

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS).

Memory Verse

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” ( Job 32:8).

Dearly Beloved

There is no doubt that many people are not conscious of their spirit being. Indeed most people have poor understanding of their ‘spirit man’.

It’s your responsibility to make your spirit alive and active each day you wake up. I recall telling a colleague of mind a few years ago, of the need to bring the ‘spirit man’ alive each day, and he innocently asked: Ben, how can you make your spirit alive? Your spirit man can come alive and dominate your mental and physical beings if you take time to nourish your spirit with the word of God. This is a lot more powerful and more stimulating than taking a cup of coffee or tea to wake ones up mentally when feeling sleepy or in the morning before going to work. In addition, there is much joy associated with it.

Henceforth, ensures that you pay attention to your spirit. Your spirit man is your inner strength, power house and the inner source to tap into when you are challenged by the adversaries.

“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” (Proverbs 18:14).

Yes, there is a spirit in man. Only the word of God can truly ignite the human spirit. The word of God gives the human spirit understanding. The word of God is the medium for the Holy Spirit to flow through.

Be truthful and honest with yourself. Set aside a few minutes to meditate on the word of God. Do it as many times as possible each day.

Be knowledgeable. Be wise. Be enlightened. Stay connected to the Word .

God is a Spirit. You can only relate to the true God through your spirit man ( John 4:24).

The word of God is nourishing to your heart and spirit. Take time to ‘eat’ the word of God:

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” (Jeremiah 15:16).
