Word for Today: Hold unto Mercy and Truth.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Improving Our Spiritual Understanding

Memory Verse

“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart” ( Proverbs 3:3).

Dearly Beloved

As long as you are alive in this world, hold on to Truth and Mercy in everything you do. Be ready to defend the truth even at the point of death. You know that the Truth is no other person than our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Never forget, while on earth, everyone of us is designed to be a co-labourer with God (1Corinthians 3:9). Be a builder. Do not be a destroyer.

Be truthful, merciful, kind, sincere, faithful, honest, transparent, diligent and passionate about whatever ever task you are opportune to undertake, and the good Lord will reward you.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Col 3:23-24).

Blessed new day in Jesus Name.

Have a Spirit-filled week.

Thank you Jesus for bringing us to the last day of October 2017.

Prayer Point

Father, please give us the grace to hold unto truth/mercy and to do every work with sincerity and with passion expected of us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Let integrity be your watch word.

Word for Today: Let integrity be your watch word.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold” ( Proverbs 22:1).

Dearly Beloved

Choose integrity rather than money, title or position. Choose integrity rather than material riches. Do everything possible to honour your name and your word. Let your word be your bond. A good name is better than the purest gold. Integrity is to do with our character and high sense of morality and justice . Integrity relates to our uprightness, sincerity, faithfulness , honesty and truthfulness. In our societies nowadays, it is difficult to find people of integrity, even within the church. Many people can lie easily or distort the figure readily when it comes to making money, or material gain. Speak to yourself positively and assured yourself that henceforth, you will be outstanding in integrity.

Our God does not compromise on integrity. God Himself functions with the highest level of integrity and He expects those who call on Him to function with integrity.

“The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them” (Proverbs 11:3).

Have a blessed  new week and new month.

Let integrity be your watch word. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Jesus.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness  (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer Point:

“Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee” (Psalm 25:21).

Our Father and our God, please help us to maintain absolute integrity in everything we do in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Thank you Jesus .

Memory Verse

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever…” (Psalm 136:1-3).

Dearly Beloved

It is a good thing to give thanks to God in Christ always. It’s a good thing to praise His holy name.

Father we bless your holy name. We magnify you. We worship you. We sing you are worthy. You are worthy to be adored. You are worthy to be glorified. You are worthy to be magnified. You are worthy to be honoured. There is none holy as our God. There is none like you in love. There is none like you in compassion. There is none like you in mercy. There is none like you in forgiveness. There is none like you in glory. There is none like you in power. Who is like unto thee O Lord? Glorious in holiness ; fearful in praises. You are greater than the greatest. You are richer than the richest. If I have billion tongues, it will not be enough to sing your praises. Father, be thou exalted. You are the God of all creation. You are the God of all flesh. Nothing is to hard for you to do. When you speak, it’s done. When you say let there be light, there must be light. Daddy, accept our thanks and worship in Jesus Name. Amen.

“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together” (Psalm 34:1-3).

Have a blessed  Sunday

Word for Today: Righteousness (6)-Judge for yourself…

Word for Today: Righteousness (6)-Judge for yourself…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream” (Amos 5:24).

Dearly Beloved

I have posted this just for your information, knowledge and awareness of the world estimate of what ‘men of God’ are worth. I found the information on internet with their photographs. I guess most of you have seen the list again and again. Perhaps, this may not go down well with some people. I am not condemning any one, so you don’t have to remind me of:

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” (Matthew 7:1-3). I have referred to the scriptures to remind us that I am aware of the verses.

Before posting the information, some of my questions are: Is it right for individuals to become so rich while some of their congregations are so poor? Is it right that money collected from their poor congregations are used to build institutions/facilities, yet most of their members cannot benefit from them? As Christians and followers of Jesus Christ, is this what Jesus Christ was doing when He was on earth?

How much was Jesus worth financially while on earth? No wonder the bible says: “… but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God” ( Luke 16:15).

Beloved, judge for yourself as you go through the list. Knowledge is power. Judge for yourself if it is right…

Stay blessed in Jesus name. Amen

Have a blessed weekend.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer Point:

Our Father and our God, please give us the spirit of understanding to know those who are truly your representatives in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
