Word for Today: Righteousness (1)- We are established in righteousness.

Memory Verse:

“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” (Isaiah 54:14).

Dearly Beloved

As long as I live, and the LORD gives me the grace, I will never be tired of writing on the subject of righteousness, because I am convinced that this is where most Christians miss the mark.

Righteousness exalts a person ( Proverbs 14:34).

To be anointed above our peers, we are required to love righteousness and hate iniquity ( Hebrews 1:9).

What exactly is righteousness? Is it possible for the fallible man to be righteous? How can a mortal man live a life of righteousness? Why is righteousness so important to God in Christ?

By His grace, we shall look into some of these questions within the week. Am sure every true Christian appreciates that our righteousness is of Christ:

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2Corinthians 5:21).

Without the word of God to guide, direct and expose our errors, a life of righteousness will be impossible.

Hold on to the word of God, no matter the price you have to pay.

Have a Spirit-filled new week.

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Prayer

Dear Father, please let your word come alive in our lives in Jesus name. Amen. Please, help us to have increasingly understanding of righteousness in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Jesus Christ.

Word for Today: Answer not a fool according to his folly…

Word for Today: Answer not a fool according to his folly…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit” (Proverbs 26:4-5).

Dearly Beloved

The Word says:

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” ( Proverbs 4:7).

The first time I read our two memory verses above, as a young person, I was taken back. I could recall speaking to myself and asking myself a hard question. How can the Bible in Proverbs 26:4, counsel us to answer a fool according to his folly, and turn around in verse 5 to advise us NOT to answer a fool according to his folly. It was after meditating on them for long that I got the revelation. Please, meditate on these scriptures and always know that you need to apply wisdom in every circumstance or situation.

Please, keep your thoughts healthy. Your destiny is dependent on your predominant thoughts, beliefs , confessions and actions.

Happy Sunday to all great men and women of God on this platform and all over the world. I speak peace to everyone on you in Jesus name. Amen . Peace, be still!

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Thank you Jesus.

Prayer:

Thank you Father for your Word for Today. May your word in us bring about the desire perfect transformation we need in life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Word for Today: Judge for yourself…

Word for Today: Judge for yourself…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse:

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common” (Acts 4:32).

Dearly Beloved

You judge for yourself if what is taking place in the church today is what was practiced in the earlier church. Judge for yourself, if there is unity in the church. Judge for yourself if there is love in the church. Judge for yourself if there is oneness in the church.

Each time I read Acts 4:32-35, below, I ask myself many questions. Why did the church allow the negative changes to go this far? How did these changes start? What can we do to make the church of God what it used to be. What can be done to make the church a perfect body without blemish? I wish there are people with the right answers, within the church and outside the church. I have posted the full verses here:

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need (Acts 4-32-35).

Only God in Christ Jesus can rebuild the church.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in you.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer

Father, please give us the grace to be united and to live in love with one another in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: If God be for us…

Word for Today: If God be for us…

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse:

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us…For I am persuaded…” ( Romans 8:31-39).

Beloved

If you are in good standing with Jesus Christ, there is no cause to fear.

Be very careful of what you say. Your words are signals to angelic world. Positive, edifying words are picked up by angels of light for the impartation of others, while negative words are also conveyed by the agents of darkness for destruction.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers” ( Ephesians 4:29)

Be careful to speak only edifying words.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in Jesus name. Amen

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in you.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer

Father, please give us the grace to always be mindful of our speech in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.
