Word for Today: Anointing (2)-Anointing is protective.

Word for Today: Anointing (2)-Anointing is protective.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm” ( Psalm 105:15).

Dearly Beloved

Divine anointing guarantees us absolute joy, security, protection and freedom. Seek anointing not titles or high positions. Kings are reproved for the sake of the anointed. Anointing brings joy, peace and a clear evidence of your walk with Lord.

Divine anointing enables fear to fade away. Am often amazed that Christians do not follow their convictions probably due to fear. Why follow another person if the Lord has given you revelations about what is right or what you should do? God has not given us the spirit of fear…2Timothy 1:7

Every Christian needs anointing for effective work in the kingdom and for effective Christian living; a life pleasing to the Almighty God.

It’s noteworthy that Satan can also anoint (demonic anointing). Divine anointing is only from the Holy Spirit:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture is fulfilled in your ears” ( Luke 4:18-21).

Ask God in Christ for increasing fresh anointing today.

Happy Sunday beloved.

Have a Spirit-filled new week.

Thank you Jesus .

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer

Dear Father, we pray for increasing fresh anointing to make us effective in your kingdom and to guarantee our full security in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ.

Word for Today: Anointing (1)-Anointing is for our empowerment.

Word for Today: Anointing (1)-Anointing is for our empowerment.

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Beloved

Anointing is an empowerment by the Almighty God through His Holy Spirit . Every Christian needs empowerment for effective work in the kingdom and for effective Christian living. Without anointing or empowerment by the Holy Spirit, effective Christian life is difficult. It’s the anointing that remove our burden and destroy all yoke, according to the word of of God:

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” ( Isaiah 10:27).

Jesus Himself needed to be empowered, according to the Bible:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

You can be anointed again and again to overflowing. The bible tells us that King David ( the Psalmist) was anointed at least three times. No wonder he affirmed: “thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over” ( Psalm 23:5b). Based on his anointing, we can understand why he was able to do much exploit for God.

The anointing you have received from the good Lord is only for goodness. It enables us to set the oppressed free and win souls . Do not embark on evil.

In your thoughts, words and actions be an example for others to follow.

The LORD is our strength and rock.

Ask God in Christ for fresh anointing today.

Have a Spirit-filled weekend.

Ministry of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality

Dearly Beloved

Please , let’s make use of these prayer points. Endeavour to personalise them.

“But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up” ( Matthew 15:13),

“But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten” ( Jeremiah 20:11).

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelations 12:11).

Word for Today: Light (6)-God is the Father of true light.

Word for Today: Light (6)-God is the Father of true light.

Ministry of the Word(MOW) : True Spirituality

Memory Verse

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17)

Dearly Beloved

Light exists at different levels of brightness and glory, hence Jesus said:

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” ( Matthew 5:16)

Apostle Paul also enables us to understand that even the many stars have differing levels of glory:

“There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory” (1Corinthians 15:41)

There can be no light without fire. The word of God is fire ( Jeremiah 23:29). Embrace Him wisely.

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints…(Ephesians 1:16-23).

Have a Spirit-filled week.

Thank you Jesus

Prayer

Dear Father, we pray for everyone sincerely connected to your Word, that they may enjoy true light in your word and that men may see their good works in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
