Memory Verse 

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth” (Ephesians 6:1-3).

Beloved 

In my few years of walking with the LORD, I have seen many young people who missed their blessings in life due to ignorance of these scriptures and inability to obey the simple instructions in our memory verses correctly.
The Word says children should obey/honour their parents. They are to honour their father and mother so that they shall live long and be prosperous. I can never forget the case of a minister of God in his 40s, I met a few years ago, in a parish of one of the biggest churches in the world. In the course of our discussion, he shared with me, his struggle with life and his inability to make progress in anything he does. As I wanted to understand his situation further, I asked about his parents. You could imagine my shock when he informed me that he has not spoken to his biological father for about 20 years. He agreed to reconcile with his father following our discussion.
The instructions to obey/honour our parents in our memory verses are not conditional. There are no conditions such as : except if your parents are very wicked or into witch-crafting. Recently, I was speaking with a distant spiritual son and was very surprised to know that he ignored attending the funeral/burial of his biological mother, though I was aware they did not have a good relationship when she was alive.
No more stagnation in your life. Simple obedience to the Word is the answer to our blessings . Arise and shine. Refuse to remain in darkness.

 Only the truth can make you free:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” ( John 8:36)

To grow spiritually requires daily meditation with the word of God (Joshua 1:8) and seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33). It also requires total fear of God, and spiritual training in the word of God: “Train yourself to be godly”(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV).

Prayer:

Dear Father, please give us the grace of simple obedience to your word in Jesus mighty name. Amen

“The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live” ( Psalm 119:144).

Beloved 

Everything in the Kingdom of God is given to you according to the level of your faith and understanding. Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom; and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). 

The bible is full of treasures and it is the will of the Father to give gifts unto his children but it will only be delivered to you according to the level of your faith and understanding. 

You can not find God with your head, through a mere intellectual exercises; you can only find God with your heart through the Spirit. The Word says: “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” ( 1Corinthians 2:14).

In the gospel, through understanding, Peter was able to declare through the Spirit that Jesus was the Son of God because he had a heart for God and it was revealed to him through the Spirit (Matthew 16:13-17). 

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:16-17).

“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12).
Beloved 

Henceforth, please ensure that you make good use of your time. It’s often said that time is wealth. It would interest you to know that everyone will give account of how he/she spent his time on earth.
Many people within the church and outside the church procrastinate so much before they attend to a particular assignment. There is the saying that : Do not leave till tomorrow what you can do today.
Procrastination is NOT the nature of God but rather a strategy that the devil uses to deprive many Christians of their blessings. No more delay in your life henceforth. Get up and start that assignment, business, project etc, you have been nursing for long in your mind. Try to account for every second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year of your life. At the end of the day, ask yourself a question: What did I achieve today?
Do all things as to the LORD:

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons” (Colossians 3:23-25).

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality

Memory Verse 

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).
Beloved 

You can prophesy, if you are filled with the Holy Spirit and the word of God. This is the promise of the Word of God to all sons and daughters in the church. If the Holy Spirit is in operation in you, you will not only prophesy and speak in tongue, but hear the inaudible and see the invisible. You will be operating in the supernatural.
This prophesy was confirmed in the Acts of Apostles when they were in the upper room filled with the Holy Spirit: 
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams” ( Acts 2:17).

You don’t need to run to ‘prophets’ for prophesies and revelations. You too can prophesy. Ask God for more and more of His Holy Spirit ( Matthew 7:7).

Remember to focus your mind on righteousness of God. God will not fill a vessel with blemish with His Holy Spirit.

Receive more of the Holy Spirit NOW in Jesus name. Amen.
