Memory Verse

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” ( John 6:63).

Dearly Beloved

Some Christians go through life not being mindful of their spirit being, whereas, it’s the spiritual that controls the mental and the physical. You cannot function in life effectively, without the help of the Holy Spirit.

Many Christians are not conscious of the need for their daily guidance by the Holy Spirit of God. Every step of your life needs to be guided daily. First of all, you need the Holy Spirit to bear witness with your own spirit and confirm to you that you are spiritually mature enough to move from being a child of God to becoming a son of God. It’s an empowerment process. The scripture says:

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Romans 8:16).

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 8:12).

If the words of God are spirit, then our words are spirit. We can speak living words. Many Christians are not sensitive to the fact that the Holy Spirit in our Lord Jesus speaks to guide us, if we allow Him. The book of Acts says:

“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them” (Acts 13:2).

Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit of God. Let Christ be well formed in you, so as to speak and guide you daily. Embrace a life of prayer and fasting. Before leaving the world, Jesus had promised us the Holy Spirit, our great Guidance and Comforter:

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you” ( John 16:7).

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” ( John 16:13).

Ministry of the Word (MOW)-True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19).

Dearly Beloved

Have you been touched by the POWER of the Holy Spirit? Many Christians need to have increasing understanding of their sonship with the Lord. Are you a son in the kingdom of God? Have you experienced the transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit? Remember, a child is born but a son is given (Isaiah 9:6). Arise against doubt, murmuring and complaining. It’s time for you to know the Lord and be cleaved to Him in righteousness.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind ( Romans 12:2). This happens as you continue to behold the Lord (2Corinthians 3:18), without being distracted.

As many as received Jesus Christ are GIVEN POWER to become sons of the kingdom of God ( John 1:12).

Heaven and earth await your manifestation.

The time for your transformation and manifestation is NOW.

Stay connected to JESUS, the Word. Be wise. Be enlightened.

Become a DISCIPLE, AMBASSADOR and a MISSIONARY for Jesus Christ.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Have a Spirit-filled week

Word for Today: What are you ready to suffer for Christ?

Word for Today: What are you ready to suffer for Christ?

Ministry of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus” ( Galatians 6:17).

Dearly Beloved

Aside from my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, my next best friend is Paul the apostle. It’s amazing how God arrested him, changed his name( from Saul of Tarsus to Paul the apostle), changed his character from being a persecutor of Christians to becoming the greatest apostle (Acts 9). Hear him:

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

In contrast with the many men of God we have today, Paul considered his own life as nothing. What are you ready to suffer to defend your faith in Christ? Do you have any marks on your body that you stand for Christ? Paul was ready to die for the good news gospel; indeed he died a martyr for the sake of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was never afraid of anyone. He was not afraid of challenges . Hear him:

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body” (2 Corinthians 4:8-10).

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” ( Philippians 4:23).

Have Spirit-filled Sunday.

Prayer Point

Dear Father, your grace is all we need. Please make me fearless, bold and courageous in the battles of life in Jesus mighty name. Amen .

Word for Today: Pray Without Ceasing.

Word for Today: Pray Without Ceasing.

Ministry Of the Word (MOW): True Spirituality (TS)

Memory Verse

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” ( Hebrews 12:2).

Dearly Beloved

Please, “Brethren, pray for us” ( 1Thessalonians 5:25).

Some Christians do not have good understanding of the significance of prayer and faith. Some Christians can even spend long hours ‘praying’ without a single word of God to back it up. Prayer is communicating with God using the word of God.

The bible says “Pray without ceasing” ( 1Thessalonians 5:17). This implies focusing on the word of God always . Stay with the word of God always and let the word of God guide you daily. Jesus is the Word (John 1:1). Please, don’t ever shift your focus away from Jesus Christ no matter the negative life experiences you are going through. It is very easy to be preoccupied with so many things, but only one thing is most important-the word of God.

As far as Jesus was concerned, nothing should distract a disciple from staying with the word of God.

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many thgings: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her” ( Luke 10:41-42).

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:28).

Have a Spirit-filled weekend.

Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Point

Father, we thank you for your words that have kept us alive. Please, accept our thanks in Jesus name. Amen
